TEDDY TIME!!

As I sit here catching up on all that has happened in the past couple of days, trying to stop my head from spinning, I thought that it would be a good time to look at Teddy Bridgewater.

In high school he started his sophomore year at Miami Northwestern and completed 97 of 160 passes for 1560 yards (60.6%).  16 td’s and 3 ints. He rushed 45 times for 211 yrds. (4.7 ave.) and 2 td’s.  They finished 13-3.

As a junior he had 2546 passing yards and 32 td’s. Rushed for 379 yards and 5 td’s.  As a senior he missed part of the season with a MCL injury but had 2606 passing yards and 22 td’s.  Rushed for 223 yards and had 8 rushing touchdowns.

Here are his college stats.

Season Passing Rushing Receiving Total Offense

  1. What would you dudes think about offering Oakland a 6th or 7th for Darren McFadden? He’s healthy now, and Jones-Drew should be back soon. He would be a huge upgrade over Asiata. If we don’t get some shred of a running game going, we’ll be lucky to win four games this year and keep Teddy upright.

  2. just looking back at the other blog posts….What’s up with you guys….Roger saying he wants both him and I to be undefeated until week 9, meaning that Titus will have to lose this week. Titus saying he is going to open a can of whoop *** on me this week. Where is the love guys?

    • The kid is calm, cool, collected. We all saw it on that game-winning drive in preseason – he threw the TD pass, looked at the sidelines like “See what I can do? And I’ll do it again.”

What do you want to bet we’ll be seeing teddy bears in Vikings jerseys at concession stands?

  3. I would like to personally thank the FF owner who was higher on the waiver wire than I was and snatched up Kirk Cousins so I didn’t end up with him.

Did Josh Freeman get a makeover?

  4. I’ve got a good feeling about our chances this weekend……or it could be lingering gas – had tacos last night.

Score prediction formulating…………have to blow up a few more balloons and get my darts out.

  5. The newbie QB will have some problems in the 1st half, but should have a good 2nd half. As long as Ponder is left holding the clip board, and off the field the score :
    Vikings…24…Falcons…21…

    • I note that the guy from Rattlesnake country isn’t out of thumbs down… Titus:

You were correct in your statement that people give you the thumbs down BECAUSE of the person blogging, NOT the subject matter.

Case in point, my post above calling a win for the Vikings………..

  6. Well folks, all we heard about the past few months from all the talking heads was how brilliant Norv Turner is– what a resume, blah, blah, blah. Well, now we will see just how true that is– there are still enough pieces to our team, so if Norv is some offensive guru, the loss of AD should be an opportunity for the truth behind that moniker to be revealed!

  7. I like everybody’s optimism this week, but as always I have to go with the numbers and the numbers tell me that the Falcons are the second best team in the NFL right now. Those birds are going to come in strong and win today by a score of 30-17.

Keep it purple...
