Purple-Gold AD From Palestine Ah

While watching the 49ers try to put away the Packers tonight, I found myself chanting “Go 9ers, Go 9ers, Go 9ers Go!”. And as I was doing this, I realized that this song works really well for the league MVP. So check out the song and sing along with the words below the video created for Purple Jesus.

It’s the purple-gold AD from Pal-e-stine Ahhhhhhhh

It’s the purple-gold AD from Pal-e-stine Ah
He heals so fast he’s been compared to Wolverine-yea

Go All Day, go All Day, go All Day go
Think you tackled him but it’s just a mirage,
As he blows past you with that double-fake dodge

And everybody’s saying that there’s nobody meaner
Than the purple-gold AD from Pal-e-stine Ah
He runs real fast and He runs real hard
He goes all out just to get the extra yard

It’s the purple-gold AD from Pal-e-stine Ah

There are those who’ve called him a steroid user
Cuz when he runs em over they feel like a loser

Go Minny, go Minny, go Minny go

Anyone who doubts him is a big fat traitor
Cuz he’s nothin but a highlight play generator

And everybody’s saying that there’s nobody meaner
Than the purple-gold AD from Pal-e-stine Ah
He runs real fast and He runs real hard
He goes all out just to get the extra yard

It’s the purple-gold AD from Pal-e-stine Ahhhh

~Instrumental~

Go All Day, go All Day, go All Day go
~Instrumental~

The D stacks the line just to shut him down
But he’ll give ’em a juke then he’ll take ’em to town

And everybody’s saying that there’s nobody meaner
Than the purple-gold AD from Pal-e-stine Ah
He runs real fast and He runs real hard
He goes all out just to get the extra yard

It’s the purple-gold AD from Pal-e-stine Ahhhh

~Fading out~
Go All Day, go All Day, go All Day go
Minny Go
Go All Day, go All Day, go All Day go
Minny Go
Go All Day, go All Day, go All Day go
Minny Go
Go All Day, go All Day, go All Day go
Minny Go

  1. Speaking of getting out more, it was a paltry 60 degrees today. I don’t know how you Minnesotans do it. I need to call my mom tomorrow in Albert Lea, make sure she hasn’t got her tounge stuck on her flag pole. You know how those senior citizens get.

  2. This is some pretty intense weather– it is our form of a hurricane or earthquake. It really is quite dangerous. I am not liking it– most people I know say they don’t mind the cold but hate the snow. This other worldly type of temperatures is what I don’t like- would rather have a 2 foot blizzard.

  3. I think Seattle will fall before the big dance, but I don’t know– they are very hard to beat. What is nice now, though, is the cream of the crop plays each other. Hard to say who would have the best shot– same with Denver– in fact, I think the Chargers will give the Broncos trouble. I am reminded of our 98 season every time I see match-ups with the top seeds. No one is invincible. Except, maybe, the best in the world.

    • That article makes it sound like he doesn’t want to entertain the idea of coaching in Minnesota:
“I think any job that has a quarterback the level of Matthew Stafford is going to be viewed as an attractive job,” Billick said. “To have a quarterback the caliber of Stafford, kind of puts you ahead of the curve.

“Many of the jobs that are available are available in no small part because you don’t have a quarterback. Detroit, along with maybe Washington with (Robert Griffin III), is the exception to that.”

    • This guy looks pretty good. I don’t like the running much, it tends to get QBs hurt. He seems to throw with accuracy, maybe average arm strength, high release point, good touch when needed. Seems like he gets happy feet in the pocket though, but maybe thats because it’s what i’m used to seeing.

  4. Hmm when I watched Manziel in the Bowl game I didnt even notice the shotgun. I thought he played under center. If he is a shotgun QB Id say pass on him, NFL is too late to be learning footwork. and NO SHOTGUN QBs do not have a successful transition into the NFL! Blaine Gabbert was a shotgun QB…. so tell me who made the transition?

  5. How can something so wonderful in college suddenly become so awful in the pros?

When it comes to making the leap from college to the NFL, the spread offense may as well be the disease of the devil for the likes of the Broncos’ Tim Tebow, Auburn’s Cam Newton and Missouri’s Blaine Gabbert.

  6. First 3 seasons …

    …………………Ponder vs Alex Smith
    games……….36……………….32
    comp% …….55%…………….52%
    TD……………38…………………19
    INT………….34…………………31
    yards………6,300………..4,500

    • It’s hard to believe Alex kept his job that long. I remember a game where he was booed so bad I had to turn off the tv. I felt so bad for the guy. Probably what made this play so special.

  7. I’m not saying Bortles will be fine in the pros I’m just saying quality players have made the transition before. Your right though Shawn not ONCE have I seen him under center. In all the highlights I’ve seen he rarely has any pressure and yet he STILL has accuracy issues, not to mention he rarely throws the deep ball! How can we know he’s consistent? I’m on the fence like you Shawn. It’s up to Spielman (god help us) to evaluate whether he will adjust to less spacing and the extra pressure of playing under center. I’d prefer Tony Romo though.

  8. thought of the day: lets move back in the draft a little and pick up chocolate thunder in the first round. Then we should have two 2nd rd picks. Cyril Richardson from Baylor- OG and then Justin Gilbert from OK State-cb. In the third round Ahmad Dixon from Baylor-safety. Let’s wait till the fouth round to get our next QB…….Aaron Murray from Georgia. He is a little on the small side (6’1″) but has been playing in a pro system there and can make all the throws. He also is coming off a torn ACL. Hopefully we could keep Cassell on to mentor him along……..any thoughts?

I know it’s early for draft projections but…..

  9. Havent heard anyone speak of this bad scenario…Frazier in Tampa could mean we lose both our LDE Jared Allen and Everson Griffen. Good news is Griffen wants to start and I think Tampa has one young DE … but still players like Frazier.

    • I’d be for anything the extends the season. Add a wild card and extend the regular season to 19 weeks and each team gets two byes. That would give fans two extra weeks of regular season and one more week of playoffs. Playoffs?? Pa-Pa-PLAYOFFS??

    • CANT EXTEND THE SEASON ITS TOO HARD FOR THE PLAYERS PHYSICALLY!!!! PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFT give me a break! Those linemen don’t even get hit all game. Only the RB and QB ever gets hit. Everyone else just gets hands placed on them to block whilst wearing a helmet and padding! Football over here is 27 rounds and is much more punishing on the body yet no one ever complains! NFL players don’t even hit in practice anymore god damn Tony Romo SEND

  10. Wow I just read an NFL article which states Darren Sharper is on record saying Chilly was the worst coach je ever played for. Thats 3 potential HoF players who publicly spoke against Chilly. Birk Moss Sharper.

    • Its never to cold to sing, Titus…………Back in the mid fifties, before I went back into the Army, I used to build timber bridges in this kind of weather.. Had to blast out the frozen dirt on the brim to be able to drive the pilings. Used a little p=3/8 x A figures for using dynamite…Still know how to use it…………..

  11. Flood the weather channel with emails– I emailed them last winter about this, but nothing has changed. Can’t be that simple of a system, is it? This is the problem- seems their system cannot understand negative numbers– check it out on the current forecast. It says– next six hours temperatures warming rapidly to -16 to -20. Good grief. Can you imagine a fool thinking it is warming and does not dress appropriately?

  12. Im starting to lean towards Mike Zimmer over Quinn. I found out that Quinn has only been DC for Seattle this season but the Jags HC built that defense the few years before getting Jags HC job. Zimmer is a more seasoned coach with experiance behind Marvin Lewis and Bill Parcels.

      • I’ve seen this often — it must be a mistake in a computer algorithm or what have you– when I emailed them last year it was so blatantly wrong– something on the order of it being, let’s say 6 below and it said– warming rapidly to 12 to 13 below in the next six hours. It is only in a small para under the current temp. Anyway, it is cold out, that is all I know– just went for a little drive and ended up buying a bunch of chocolate– cookies, doughnuts — not eating lettuce when it’s this cold (usually I eat fairly healthy).

  13. Well I’m convinced Bridgewater, Bortles and Manziel will be gone by pick 5. Bridgewater is definitely going to Houston and the Jags will want to bring a Florida QB to save the franchise so there goes Bortles. Then Cleveland are in perfect position to grab Manziel and keep their second 1st. If anyone trades with the Rams it will be Cleveland or JAX to make sure they get their guy. Sorry guys.

Also Roger are you aware Bortles is a Packer backer?

Keep it purple...
