Happy Thanksgiving !!!!!

Monday is our Thanksgiving and while I’m still sober, I’d like to give thanks for a 34-21 Viking win on Sunday….

    • What an idiot. When asked about the dreaded early bye week, he responded ‘teams like to get the bye in the middle of the season, but in the Viking’s case it came at a good time, coming off of a win and carrying that momentum into the bye week’,.
Yeah Mike, bye weeks are GREAT for momentum ??????
If we had lost that game, you KNOW he would have said’What a great time for a bye week’.
He will NEVER be able to remove that fence picket from his ass.

    • Winter hits Montreal earlier than us, Titus, but in early Nov. there shouldn’t be a threat of any major snowfall,
But it’s been known to happen.
      Average November temperature: 7ºC / 45ºF
      November average high: 11ºC / 52ºF
      November average low: 1ºC / 30ºF
Visitors can expect rain about 10 out of 30 days in November.

      • Similar to our weather- maybe a tad warmer because it is closer to the coast than we are– I figured that, but thought I would ask– majority of my Canadian travels have been summer to early fall.

  1. 3 Christian Ponder quotes…
    (1) …”I would be lying if I didn’t say it was a little bit disappointing and frustrating.”
( Very similar to the fan’s reaction to his time at QB, minus the ‘a little bit’).
(2)…”Again, I have no idea what is going to happen”
( Just like when he throws a pass).
(3)…”A trade would be difficult to deal with.”
( No kidding, we would be lucky to get a Green Bay cheerleader calendar in return).

  2. I feel bad for Ponder, but he can’t say he didn’t have his chances.

AP said he is looking forward to rolling on Sunday. There is no way to predict how he will play on game-day…Will it be Fran Tarkenton like…or Brett Favre like after their family trageties.

    • I feel bad for Ponder but he is a victim of entitlement that Frazier could have avoided by praising Ponder and staying with him at the expense of losing streaks and all the fans and other teammates. Maybe Ponder will blossom because of this new found competition? Maybe here, maybe somewhere else? Or he uses his MBA and starts a B & B? At any rate, the change in QBs is a blessing to Ponder and the best thing that could have happened to him– you don’t mindlessly stick with mediocrity. There have to be consequences.

  3. The two-year-old son of Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson has died at a South Dakota hospital after alleged abuse from the boyfriend of the boy’s mother, according to USA Today.

  4. The coward that performed this heinous act will eventually be in a world of hurt. Prisons are full of big football fans (big, as in physically) who , I’m sure, don’t care for baby killers.

  5. If it were me, I would want to play — not only would it be a distraction, but I also would let out my frustration and anger through the physical element of sport– and football sure can be a good sport of that– heck, this may be a 300 yard game for AD.

  6. Anyways, might as well throw in the prediction for tomorrow’s game. Like Minnesota, Carolina is better than their record suggests. I actually have the Panthers pegged as the 11th best team in the NFL right now, supported in large part by their defense, which is 2nd only to that of the Chiefs. However, they have not been able to do much on offense to assist that, so I’m predicting that the Vikings use homefield advantage to score the victory, 25-23.

  7. I don’t think the Panthers can stop the Vikings tomorrow. AD has 300 yards and teh team rallies around him and the better QB play of Cassel — Allen has 4 sacks and the twelfth man is relentless. 43-17 Vikings in a wipe out.

  8. first of all, AD isn’t a stranger to tragedy. He has learned to handle it, the way he handles it, and shouldn’t be judged by how he reacts to this situation. Secondly, South Dakota is probably 75% Viking fans, and 0% fans of child abusers and killers. This guy will die a horrific death in jail. Thirdly, I hate it that when South Dakota makes the news, it’s always for something bad. I love this City, and state. Good people live here.

Some people on the interwebs were saying that this was the boy that was at training camp with him. It wasn’t. Thoughts and prayers to the Peterson family.

  9. A lot has happened since my score prediction. I will cowboy up and hold true. I do hope however AD has a Favre like superhuman game in tribute of to his boy. I read where he intends to grieve through his performance. Here’s wishing him success and to hopefully find some solitude. SKOL
